POLL: How often do you wash your bath towels?
Comments (49)Unfortunately, MRSA is all over, not just lurking in hospitals anymore. My nephew contracted it when he was about 18 months old. The doctors had strict guidelines to follow for prevention of further outbreaks for both him, and the entire family. My sister was told that everyone, not just families that are dealing with MRSA, should wash towels after every use with bleach as a means to kill any of the germs. bTW, my sister has always kept a spotless home, so it wasn't like this is a home with full of excessive germs....See MoreHow often do you change your dishcloth?
Comments (30)At least daily here. I changed to washable cloths (flannels) specifically so I could do this: it's very expensive to change a store bought cloth every day. I also change the tea towel and kitchen hand towel daily. They absolutely need it as well. The tea towel gets soaked several times/day. It does depend on how large the household is and how much time is spent in the house though. If it's a single person or couple who both work outside the home, eat dinner out a lot etc, a weekly change is no big deal. I'm at home every day, with friends and family passing through all the time, so the kitchen is very heavily used....See MoreHow often do you eat in your living room?
Comments (33)I eat every meal at a table, not in front of the TV. Right now the only table happens to be in the dining room but it's been in my lounge in past homes (and I've lived alone in London so some lounges have been minuscule and been the ONLY room). I don't usually eat alone but if I am I may occasionally flip through a magazine, but I have always eaten at some form of a table and there is never a TV on. I wouldn't use the term vulgar but balancing a plate while watching tv, especially while eating with others isn't how I'd like to enjoy my meals, my family/friends or my TV. Simple pleasures....See MoreHow often do you go to the cinema?
Comments (27)We can really relate to this poll as we design and install all manner of home cinemas, from a sound-bar right through to a dedicated cinema room which will deliver better visual and sound than the local cinema. However, we find the cinema is still an experience for some of our customers: - you get to see the latest film you've been waiting for - maybe grab a meal before/after - maybe the film just has to be seen in 3D or in an IMAX [3D at home is typically limited] We think that some films just have to seen at the cinema; and with the latest entry-level TVs offering a great picture and cinema surround sound systems readily available off the shelf, the quality of cinema at home is really accessible - especially for your favourite boxset!!...See Moredeborah eade
