DIY Before & After Design Dilemma

Need someone to help me out with the interiors of my flat. It's a tiny flat but I want to have a dining area in the living space next to the kitchen.
Could someone help me out with the layout which will make my flat look big and spacious.

Your sitting room is a good size. If the outlook is nice or sunny, you could put a dining area near the windows, leaving space on the other walls for your sofa/seating.

I assume you have a reasonable sized TV (not cinema size!) That could go on the left wall with a couch facing it about 2.5m away. The back of the couch could then have a bench seat (fits under table when not needed), narrow rectangle table and 2 or 3 multipurpose chairs (something like tub chairs) that can be used for dining or pulled into seating area. If possible remove the kitchen doors to free up kitchen space and improve 'flow'. Good luck with it.

Well 6 years have flown by and I still have a door dilemma! We have decorated the hall/stairs/landing and replaced the cloakroom and WC door with oak ledge and brace doors to match upstairs as advised on here. We still detest the white Georgian looking doors which don't match anything else in the house but don't want a solid ledge and brace as it would make an already dark hallway even darker. Could anyone suggest an oak glazed style door and handle that would tie in with the ledge and brace please? Thanking you all in advance.

Am wondering if the doors into the kitchen are a necessity? It seems like they make the kitchen feel busy. You could remove them and see if the space works as an open plan. If not, barnstyle sliding doors would give closure but not impose on the floor space in the kitchen. By having an opening you could the locate the dining space near the kitchen to allow the remaining area be the living space.
