Design Dilemma Before & After Polls

i'm new at i need adci

i have ms and i struggle with ms. i wash up and get the kitchen straight then it piles up again. i'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. but what can i do? its just that i srart off well then the washing piles up"! its really bad theres mound on my plates. i really want to be a better wife to my husband. but the ms is bad. please don't think i'm dirty.

Could you have a dishwasher installed anywhere ? Is there a space near to plumbing that could be utilised ? Alternatively a deep sink with a slide over lid can help keep things looking a bit neater between washing up times.

Two options: one get a dishwasher and two, if your husband knows you struggle with your condition point him in the direction of the sink. It’s not just your job in this day and age to do domestic tasks.

HiTino Felly, Marie Here. Your off to a great start - but you've made a common mistake in that you've found your inspiration for your colour palette, but your not committing to it. You need to bring the greens and blues up onto the walls and onto the floor - commit to it. You could: - add a great throw rug underneath the bed, - add big table lamp beside the bed - or better yet, a wall sconce, - drapery isn't really the best choice for this bedding - I would have brought in a bold graphic print here, in either the blue or the green - artwork can stay neutral - even do a collection of mixed metals in chrome, gold, and have fun with that - if you add too much in the blue and green it becomes boring and un-special. Choose your accessories carefully, I'd change out your drapery - go with something bolder, I'd also get a larger night stand so you could put a proper table lamp there. Good Luck!

Dear Jen P, Casa Colori and all Thank You for your thoughts and encouragement ... I guess having renovated the whole flat (new electrics, boiler, plaster, 70's decor ripped out etc etc) its just that final signature on it. And the budget is running a lot lower now :@ Ive ordered the floor which is way over my initial budget but hey it's for life ! from Reclaimed Wood Flooring 'Castle Oak, sanded / unfinished' Which I hope will compliment the colours and add an earthy honest feel to the place and a through line between rooms. luckily am getting light from the kitchen windows (south facing) into the little living room, as well as a large window (West facing) in it. Though the light is blocked by the building directly opposite. so it can be quite dark at times. I would have poo poo’d this idea before as I’d wonder what the point was, but make your self a mood board using the colours roughly in the same ratios. Are you planning on having some artwork as this may be the lynchpin that helps it hang all together. Pulling colours through from that will help the scheme. Tonal can be soft and soothing but needs layering up with texture to create a cohesive scheme. Alternatively pops of bright colour can look amazing and your kitchen is lovely and bright with good bones. What is the rest of your house like, and what is your style?

Hi Richard, I'm happy to help but I need some more information. Where is your soil pipe? How much space is in the floor in order to move pipes around if necessary. What is currently in the space. I would try to put the bath under the window if possible and keep the shower away from the window. What is the height of the window sill? Try not to have the toilet in plain view when you enter the room.

If you have MS then a lot of daily tasks can be difficult or impossible to carry out. I have arthritis so am limited in what I can do, but a dishwasher is brilliant if you have space and also having a cleaner once a week is a boon. Do you qualify for a carer? This may be an option if you are in the UK. This forum is mainly about home decor, but you may find the charity MS Society helpful.
