Inspiration needed
So we’re in the process of buying and I’d like to share the layout of the upstairs to see what you all think what may be possible regarding an en-suite. Ideally for bedroom 1 but open to ideas as at the moment I’m struggling to see anything other than how it is now. Is turning bedroom 5 into an en-suite/dressing room to obvious (or possible at all). All answers appreciated.

Comments (5)Hiya, What about something like this for over the dining table https://www.made.com/albert-cluster-pendant-lamp-muted-grey-dusk-blue-duck-egg - and a large piece of artwork for the wall between the two french windows - Desenio do some fantastic funky art prints and provide frames too a little bit away from standard high street things but with really reasonable prices. I would pop a faux plant in a pot, about 110-120cm high (including the pot height beside your sofa for some greenery on the right- this always balances a room beautifully I find. Homescapes and Blooming artificial are great sources for these. A roman blind sitting over the window would soften that room slightly and give you some texture which would look fabulous. I would stagger artwork on the sofa wall or add a mirror to bounce some light around and make the room feel really airy. What about a little side table -(Tradesecret are fabulous for sourcing really reasonable, good quality pieces) underneath the television, with an ornament or vase to finish it off? You could also add a couple of shallow floating shelves in a natural wood finish to echo your dining table where you could place your candle sticks and photo frames too -on the wall to the right of the sofa above the radiator. 23 days agoExtended soil pipe in orange towards ensuite. Unsure of the corerectness of this floorplan, but i've moved bed5 wall inward, leaving just enough space for bed2 door. Opened up wall between bed5 and bed1, creating a roughly 7.5x3.5m master suite, plus that little nook with new window (ideal for desk or window seat). May your househunt be succesful!

The room sizes are quite generous, so you could easily do something like this.
if you need 3 additional similar size bedrooms, you can easily take space away from bedrooms 1 and bedrooms 2, to make a decent size bedroom 3.
Have the master suite on that part of the house. There are toon of possibilities, but knowing more about the house position and you and your family would give me an option to create something really bespoke.
