window dressing advice please!
Hello!!
I am looking for blind for the attached… my initial thought would be 4 Roman blinds (this is for a playroom). I initially wanted them to sit outside of the recess and above the frames to create more height to the windows… but I don’t know if this would look silly or not? Thoughts welcome!

17 days agoI wonder if four separate blinds would look a bit over fussy? I think one big pair of curtains over the whole lot would possibly look better, although there is a rad under the window. Or simple wooden slatted blinds per window. Will you actually use the window covering at night as it’s a play room?

Well we haven't actually exchanged on our own sale yet (3 months!) and we gave up waiting so completed early on our purchase so we can get in and make it a bit more homely before we move in, ha ha. Comments (1)Full height curtains, on a track that extends past the doorway. When open, full light and visibility. The fabric will add to your room too. Might be pricey, but if you have budget constraints then IKEA curtains have a great drop and you can join a few pairs together if needed. Comments (3)Blind would suit the window better as it’s small; look through fabrics together and ultimately let her choose but guide her towards a pattern (since walls are plain) that will last as a style but go for funky cord and cord knobs.
