Hand made earthenware tiles made in the UK, inspired by medieval patterns and geometry.
Deiniol was born and raised in Mid-Wales but has relocated to Glossop, a small town on the edge of the Peak District. He studied 3D Design at Manchester Metropolitan University where he specialised in ceramics in 2005. He starting out throwing stoneware pottery on the wheel, but has sinced branched out into earthenware tiles.

The tiles are suitable for use on kitchen walls
back splashes
fire surrounds
and low-footfall areas. Inspired by medieval tiles and combining traditional and modern production techniques
the patterns are either based on original medieval tiles
or are designed using geometric shapes and patterns. As well as wall tiles
they are also converted into coasters
trivets
and as framed wall art. Each tile is hand-made from start to finish which means no two are ever quite the same
however great care is taken to make sure there is consistency in size and finish—ultimately
making any room they are installed in look spectacular!
