has anyone converting old kitchen into loo/ boot room/ utility???

Hello - we plan to do a ground floor rear extension - 6 meter wide by 4 meter out.

We do not plan to remove the exterior wall between the kitchen and dining room for a few reasons but mainly we renovated top down and don’t want to cause damage secondly we prefer broken plan.

Considering this we will box off the existing kitchen and put new kitchen in the now dining room. The new kitchen will have a recessed pantry into the old kitchen - see the beginning of our design with howdens/ ikea.

Has anyone done something similar?
